	Bakura • denyamenti • human • wrong • challenge; determination • I wouldn't have expected it, from our first meeting, but he's become a good friend. Reciprocally: I've caught him caring. I wonder if I didn't become too comfortable with him, though. I thought I understood him, until he told me the truth of what he carries. Zorc, and Kul Elna. And now... He's the same person. Only my perception has changed. And I don't doubt that he cares, but his ghosts will always come first, won't they? We will find a way to help him. Perhaps even if he must hate us for it-- though it shouldn't come to that.		Solomon Wreath • peacefullywreathed • human • darkness • Solomon was the first here I completely trusted. It's not that I don't understand why he sets some others on edge; he doesn't often care to blunt his tongue, and his lack of experience with friendly relationships does show. But from the first day, he has always met me as an equal, and given my words weight when others might not, and he has a sharp mind and deft hands and he is willing to make an effort. For me. Despite what he's done, both the things before I knew him and my life held in his hands, I am entirely certain he's a good man. One I love.
	Cain (Jacob Kane) • insertdadjoke • human • neutral • constant; living • I don't always know what to make of Cain, given the way we got to know each other. Still, I suppose at least we know the worst of each other now, and there are few if any nasty surprises left. He seems to be taking it upon himself to look out for me; perhaps he feels a sense of responsibility, thanks to that time. People weren't meant to live that long. But he's handling it well, all things considered.		Skulduggery Pleasant • skeletonenigma • dead human • wind/earth | darkness • ??? • At least he's learned to come to his friends for help, even if... Well. Skulduggery is a fascinating person, and skilled at applying rational logic to the most peculiar of things, and he consistently makes me think, especially about things I've taken for granted before. And he stopped me, when I couldn't stop myself, and I will always be grateful for that. I'm glad to know him.
	Anton Shudder • gistful • human • neutral • stone patience • Ryder's other parent. His support has been invaluable in the past; I only worry that he, in turn, should have his own. He pushes himself, even when he knows better. I am, perhaps, not one to talk, but... Impossible to forget his capacity for destruction, but I trust him implicitly.

	Pepper Potts • lasergrenades • human • neutral • Pepper is perhaps one of the most positive people I know. She's eager to learn, good-hearted, and truly seems to believe in the better nature of people. Sometimes it's especially nostalgic, but for the most part Pepper is simply herself. I'm still grateful for the respite she offered after my brother's disappearance.		Erskine Ravel • edgeoftheknife • human • water (+ maxwell's) • I don't know if I trust him. But Erskine has had to bear more than anyone rightfully should, and he deserves the same second chances as everyone else. I still don't know if I'll ever truly be at ease with him, but he deserves better than his world gave him, and any genuine discourse about his ideals will have to wait for him to heal somewhat.
	Gene Khan • wrathfulkhan • human • neutral • Gene's done things he's not proud of, and tends to believe the worst of himself. I'm offering what support I can, but somehow, I think Tony and Pepper will be the greater part of the battle. In general, however, Gene is pleasant to be around and thus far remarkably responsible with his power.		Tony Stark • highprofilerichkid • human • neutral-lightning • Undeniably brilliant, if occasionally rash. Manners are coming, and we've managed to agree on whose relationship is whose business. I'm glad he has friends here, and has been a friend to those who need it. Overall, I believe the city benefits from him.
	Valdis • redlightgreenlight • ??? • darkness • Despite our past conflicts, I believe we've reached a kind of understanding. Her power and her previous instability still merit being kept in mind, but she's trying, both to change and to understand. We agree on Anton, at least, if little else.		Duke Pantarei • radiantwingedone • human • neutral-light • Not a man of many words, but capable of healing and other magics. He seems to want to help, mostly, and talking about the differences and similarities in our systems of magic is fascinating. Thus far, more helpful than Yuri.
	Jackie Ma • jinzhong • human • neutral • I haven't seen him in a little while, and I'm beginning to worry. He has potential, more than he believes he does, but his continued association with the Snakes concerns me. What will he do, I wonder?		Aqua • aquanimity • human • water? • A reliable ally, and I believe a friend as well. We have some similar experiences, and it's been a boon to find someone so rational and understanding with whom I can work. I'm glad she's here.
	Akito Wanijima • akito • human • wind • Young, but cautious, and appears to be possessed of a strong desire to help. I can fault none of these. Alternately exceptionally sensible and prone to outbursts when he perceives an injustice; sometimes, I think he'd fit well with those of us who journeyed together.		Yuri Lowell • wolfstrike • human • wind? • One of those whose world has some uncanny similarities. For living in it, however, he appears to have given very little thought to it. But he's generous, and he means well, even if I begin to believe he's somewhat rash.
